- Corporate tax compliance, including tax consolidation, complex positions and supporting workpapers.
- Transaction support, including structuring, due diligence and documentation for mergers, acquisitions and initial public offerings.
- Representation in Australian Tax Office (ATO) audits, risk reviews and assurance programs, including regulator engagement and negotiations.
- Experience with Private Binding Rulings and ATO position papers, including complex technical interpretations.
- Buy-side and sell-side tax due diligence.
- Providing Board, investor and stakeholder briefings on tax risk and key judgement areas.
- Contribution to policy and industry initiatives, including ATO and industry committees, consultation on tax law changes and input into public rulings.
- Experience advising across technology and innovation ecosystems, including CSIRO’s ON Program and UNSW Founders Program.
