At HLB, we believe in making a positive and sustainable impact for our people, the environment and communities in which we operate in.

On Friday 2 June 2023, HLB firms came together to support their local communities through #HLBCommunities Day. A global annual CSR initiative, #HLBCommunities Day is an opportunity for HLB staff to volunteer and give back.

This year, HLB’s impact exceeded global objectives by donating 9,203 hours through 1,949 volunteers across 38 community projects.

Firms in the HLB Mann Judd Australasian Association once again participated in #HLBCommunities Day. Together donating 180 hours to community projects across Australia and Fiji.

HLB Mann Judd’s volunteers supported Legacy, Friends of Cleland National Park, and the Fiji Society for the Blind. Several staff also braved a cold winter’s night to raise funds and awareness for youth homelessness by sleeping at the G.

HLB Mann Judd Australasian Association chair, Tony Fittler, congratulated the firms and expressed his appreciation to this year’s volunteers:

“In its fifth year, #HLBCommunities Day has become a special day in our calendars. We thoroughly enjoy getting involved. It is our way of saying ‘thank you’ to the communities in which we live and work.”
