Perth accountant Litsa Christodulou, a partner with HLB Mann Judd, has been honoured nationally with the “Practitioner Award – Most Client-Focused Accountant” in the 2018 Financial Review Client Choice Awards.

The award is presented to just one accountant Australia-wide and recognises Litsa’s dedication to her clients, which has been a hallmark of her 28 years with HLB Mann Judd. As a partner in the company’s Business Advisory Services Division, Litsa has instilled in her team a commitment to clients centred on being valuable, accessible, supportive and trustworthy.

“The thing I enjoy most is the clients, the passion they have for their business and helping them achieve their goals – so winning this award is very humbling for me,” she said. HLB Mann Judd Managing Partner WA, Norman Neill, said Litsa is a role model and willing mentor within the Perth team. “Litsa builds relationships with her clients, she understands their business and thrives on personal contact with them,” he said.

As well as Litsa’s individual award, HLB Mann Judd was named “Best Professional Services Firm (revenue $50 – $200 million)” and “Best Accounting Firm (revenue $50 – $500 million)” at the awards ceremony and gala dinner in Melbourne last night. It’s the fifth consecutive time that HLB Mann Judd has won the “best accounting firm” award and the first time one of its partners has won a practitioner award.

Another first for HLB Mann Judd is winner of the Best Professional Services Firm, which is awarded against engineering, law and accounting firms in the revenue category.

Established in 2005, The Financial Review Client Choice Awards recognise outstanding performance as voted by clients in the sectors of accounting, law, engineering and management consulting. The Awards are based on quantitative research into buyers of professional services throughout Australia and New Zealand, conducted independently by Beaton Research + Consulting. Winners are determined by the opinions of over 200,000 clients of professional services organisations who participated in the research.

Mr Tony Fittler, chairman of the HLB Mann Judd Australasian Association, said it is particularly pleasing to win awards that are based on the views and opinions of clients. “I particularly congratulate Litsa for winning the Most Client-Focused Accountant award, which is a tremendous achievement and recognition,” Mr Fittler said.
