The role:

Our Sydney office, which is made up of over 200 staff and 20 partners, is looking two talented Senior Auditor’s to join our high performing Assurance division.

The role involves:

  • Working with teams to deliver a range of assurance engagements across a diverse client base.
  • Responsibility to support the completion of high-quality financial audit engagements. on a portfolio of clients, from the planning through to audit completion stages.
  • Research and application of financial reporting and assurance knowledge to address technical matters.
  • Project management and addressing client requests and assistance on a timely basis.
  • Opportunities for exposure to assurance engagements over climate related financial disclosures and other areas
  • Mentoring, supervising and delegating work to junior staff.

Our Audit & Assurance division has over 60 people and will give the successful candidate the opportunity to experience and progress through various career pathways.

To be successful you will have:

  • CA/CPA qualification (or working towards)
  • 3+ years’ experience within an assurance team.
  • Recent experience in an external audit role.
  • Ability to manage multiple engagements simultaneously.
  • Good working knowledge of financial reporting and auditing standards.
  • Enjoy working in a collaborative team environment.
  • You act with integrity and show care for the people you work with.

A successful candidate will be curious, innovative and have excellent investigative, problem-solving, and highly developed analytical skill set across at least 3 years’ experience in assurance role. This will be further coupled with your exceptional communication and written capability, to attend to client queries in a timely and professional manner.
