Join Michelle Warren, HLB Mann Judd’s Director of Financial & Corporate Reporting, for a discussion on the latest financial and sustainability reporting matters that could impact your business.
During this session, a key focus will be on the mandatory climate-related financial disclosures which commenced on 1 January 2025, marking a significant shift in corporate reporting for some entities. While sustainability reporting presents opportunities for value creation, entities will need to navigate several challenges to ensure compliance with their extended reporting obligations and position themselves for long-term success.
Michelle will be joined by guest speaker, Liza Maimone, Sustainability & Climate Reporting and Assurance Specialist Adviser, and board member of the Australian Accounting Standards Board (AASB). Together, they will provide a high-level overview of the new climate reporting regime, the role of the AASB in developing and implementing sustainability reporting standards, and what this all means for directors and businesses.
