The role:
Our Sydney firm is made up of around 200 staff and 21 Partners in Sydney and a further 40 operating from our Manila office.
We are seeking an Account Manager to lead the firm’s growth by strengthening existing client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and positioning the firm as a leader in the market.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead and drive business development efforts, identifying and pursuing new opportunities across the firm’s service lines.
- Strengthen relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and exploring opportunities for additional services.
- Work closely with senior internal stakeholders, including partners and leadership teams, to align business development strategies with firm objectives.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities for business expansion and positioning.
- Develop and manage a pipeline of leads, working closely with the marketing team to execute targeted campaigns.
- Assist in enhancing the firm’s brand and visibility through marketing and networking initiatives, representing the firm at relevant industry events and functions.
- Collaborate with various departments, including marketing, to ensure a cohesive approach to business development.
To be successful you will have:
- A minimum of 5 years in account management, preferably in a professional services environment.
- Familiarity with the accountancy or financial services sector is highly desirable.
- Proven experience working with senior internal and external stakeholders, including partners, to drive business development initiatives
- Proven track record of developing and implementing strategies that enhance client engagement and business growth
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage clients, present ideas, and influence key stakeholders.
- Ability to manage market trends, business performance, and competitive landscapes to make informed decisions.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
