The role:

Our Sydney office, which is made up of over 200 staff and 16 partners, is looking for a talented Senior Accountant – Financial Reporting to join our high performing Assurance & Advisory division based in our brand new office in Barangaroo.

The role involves:

  • Working on an exciting new project in the financial reporting space with scope for this to expand to other new engagements.
  • Responsible for preparing high quality accounting reconciliations on as well as financial statement preparation.
  • Liaising with key stakeholders to source information and process accounting entries relating to operational, capex and treasury transactions
  • Addressing technical issues and assisting in preparing technical position papers
  • Addressing client requests and assistance on a timely basis
  • Mentoring, supervising and delegating work to junior staff

Our Assurance & Advisory division has over 60 people and will give the successful candidate the opportunity to experience and progress through various career pathways.

To be successful you will have:

  • CA/CPA qualification or working towards completion.
  • Minimum 3 years of recent experience in financial reporting, accounting or auditing.
  • Preferred experience working with financial instruments and complex financial models.
  • Ability to consistently meet deadlines and demonstrate a high accuracy of deliverables.
  • Strong working knowledge of accounting and auditing standards.
  • Enjoy working in a collaborative team environment.
  • You act with integrity and show care for the people you work with


A successful candidate will have excellent investigative, problem-solving and highly developed analytical skill set across at least 3 years’ experience as a Senior Accountant – Financial Reporting. This will be further coupled with your exceptional communication and written capability, in order to attend to client queries in a timely and professional manner.
