The third quarter of FY2022 saw a decrease in the total number of transactions completed in Australia, while the average deal value increased significantly ycompared to the corresponding period in the prior year.
Based on the published transaction data for Q3 FY2022, there were 217 deals completed compared to 331 in Q3 FY2021, being a decrease of 34%.
The average deal size increased from $49 million in Q3 FY2021 to $118 million in Q3 FY2022, which can be attributed to a jump in the average value of transactions with gross values greater than $100 million from $243 million in Q3 FY2021 to $424 million in Q3 FY2022.
